Once upon a time there was a boy without a ball He had a problem that he continued to stall He lacked a date to his senior prom To be honest his best chance was with his mom So with a friend he devised To bring a sock puppet, everyone would be surprised! But then a meanie came along and told him how he was wrong That he would come to regret it by the first song And so she pressed on and on and on But slowly to him it seemed all hope was gone But then he realized perhaps he had a chance He could ask the meanie to the dance But he needed to do something with a bit of class Too bad the only thing he's good at is being an ass And so
